Since the advent of it in psychology, the concept of trauma has evolved to encompass experiences that are subjectively intense and deeply impactful.
Modern diagnostic criteria reflect this understanding, acknowledging the personal nature of trauma. What is NOT trauma for one might be for another. For You. For US.
